Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• “Veska”, “we”, “us”, “our” means Veska Health Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
• “You”, “your” means the person using the website or completing the intake questionnaire.
• “Site” means the Veska website, including all subdomains.
• “Waitlist” means the pre-launch list of people who have completed the intake questionnaire and indicated interest in our future programme.
• “Programme” means the clinician-led weight management service we intend to offer in the UK once launched.

2. About Veska

Veska is a pre-launch waitlist for a clinician-led medical weight management programme intended to be offered in the United Kingdom. At the date of these terms we are not yet providing medical services, prescribing medication, or dispensing pharmacy products.

3. Eligibility to use the Site

By using the Site and joining the waitlist you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years of age;
• you are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and the programme, if launched, may lawfully be offered to you there;
• the information you provide in the intake questionnaire is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge;
• you have legal capacity to enter into these terms.

We may decline to offer you the programme, or remove you from the waitlist, if any of these conditions is not met.

4. What we are not

The Site and the waitlist are informational only. At this time, Veska is not:

• a provider of medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment;
• a registered pharmacy or dispensing entity;
• a substitute for advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional;
• an emergency service.

5. No medical advice

Any content on the Site, including projected weight loss ranges, expected timelines, and eligibility indicators, is provided for general information only and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician before acting on information from the Site.

6. Your conduct

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or incomplete information in the intake questionnaire;
• use the Site in a way that breaches applicable law or the rights of others;
• attempt to interfere with, probe, or compromise the security or integrity of the Site, including through automated scraping, bypassing rate limits, or injecting malicious code;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
• upload or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes intellectual property rights.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, the Veska name and wordmark, design, and source code, is owned by or licensed to Veska Health Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of your use of the Site;
• our total aggregate liability in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site during any 12-month period, is limited to £100;
• we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we may modify, suspend, or withdraw it at any time without notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or remove you from the waitlist at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or applicable law. You may leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Disputes

If you have a concern, please contact us first at hello@veska.health. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. If we cannot, you may be entitled to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider, or to bring proceedings in the courts identified above.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
