Medical Disclaimer
Veska is a pre-launch waitlist. Nothing on this site is medical advice. This page explains what that means for you.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E. Do not use this site.
1. No medical advice
The content of the Veska website, including any information shown in the intake questionnaire, any eligibility indicator, any projected weight loss range, any estimated timeline, and any written copy, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and must not be treated as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.
2. No clinician-patient relationship
Completing the intake questionnaire, joining the Veska waitlist, or otherwise interacting with our site does not create a clinician-patient or doctor-patient relationship. Our registered clinicians will only assess you, prescribe, or provide treatment if and when you become an active patient of the Veska programme following our formal onboarding process.
3. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional
You should always consult your GP or another qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, taking any medication, or making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle, and certainly before acting on anything you read on this site.
4. The questionnaire is preparatory only
The intake questionnaire exists so that, when our programme launches, we can invite people who are likely to be suitable and route them smoothly into a proper clinical assessment. Any indicative result you see (such as “strong candidate” or “not eligible at this time”) is an early screen based on your self-reported answers. It is not a clinical decision, not a diagnosis, and not a promise of treatment.
Final eligibility for the programme is determined by a GMC-registered clinician after a complete clinical assessment.
5. Self-reported information
The information you provide is self-reported and has not been verified by a clinician. Please answer as accurately as you can. Misleading answers can produce misleading results on screen and will invalidate any eligibility assessment made by our clinicians later.
6. Results vary
Where we show projected weight loss or time-to-goal figures, these are illustrative averages based on published clinical trial data for GLP-1 receptor agonists used alongside lifestyle change. Individual results vary significantly. Your clinician will give you a realistic, personalised picture of what to expect if you are offered the programme.
7. Emergencies
If you think you or someone else is in a life-threatening situation, call 999 immediately or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency department. For urgent but non-emergency medical concerns in the UK, call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk.
8. Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, please write to hello@veska.health.
